WordPress Ranks 3rd in Elance

My confidence grew stronger after I read the post in WordPress Publisher Blog which was dated on the 1st September 2010.

I started to get curious on how popular WordPress gets in the Information Technology. I browsed in Elance and spotted the table here that shows the rankings of highly demanded skills which I have extracted the table and is shown on the left.

It’s a great feeling to see everything that is used to build WordPress like PHP. MySQL, HTML and CSS are in the top 5. Even Adobe has migrated their blogs from Movable Type to WordPress which shows how big a deal WordPress is!

So I’m really happy that I’ve made the decision to change from job-hopping to just one focus and that is WordPress since November 2008. Still on the learning stage as there is so much you can do with WordPress platform. =)
